Bradley Beach Cinema - 80th AnniversaryThe Beach Cinema in Bradley Beach is a landmark at the New Jersey Shore. The “Palace Theatre Beach Cinema” has a long tradition of single screen projection movie entertainment.

In 2005 they celebrated their 80th Anniversary of service to the Bradley Beach community with a special showing of the holiday classic “White Christmas”.

All the Bradley Beach dignitaries were present for a ceremonial ribbon cutting to start the show. John Esposito, Owner, Operator, arranged for the special celebratory feature, complete with cartoon.

The year 2010 was the 85th anniversary, with special shows on December 3 - 5, 2010, featuring a salute to Shore Area native, Jack Nicholson. On Friday and Saturday, Jack appeared in the 1980 cult horror classic "The Shining." Showtimes were 7:30PM with a Saturday matinee at 1:30PM. On Sunday, December 5th, Jack starred in 1997's comedy "As Good As It Gets." Showtimes were 1:30PM and 7:30PM. Admission for these special shows were rolled back to $2.50.

Through special arrangement with the theater, show times and features can be found on these pages.

I can smell the popcorn and hear the audience’s reaction to the film. Go! Enjoy!
